New Licensing Regulation - People Behind the Businesses

Behind every small business is a real person who has built up their company from scratch. They often work long hours on not on particularly high incomes and do so to support their families. The government left just 8 weeks between publishing the new guidance and it coming into force. Even the councils in charge of implementing these changes aren't sure yet exactly how the rules will work or how much it will cost businesses. Some council staff members are on holiday and others are no-longer responding to queries because they just don't have the staff available to answer them. It's left dedicated dog carers facing months of uncertainty about their businesses and families financial future unsure if their business can continue to be financially viable.
