About our Boarding Cattery

For over 30 years we have been grooming dogs of all breeds from our home at Ashgate in the beautiful county of Somerset. In recent years the business has expanded to offer a more comprehensive grooming service along with dog and cat boarding.

Accommodation:

The cat chalets are located inside our brick built salon that meet the Higher Level Licence requirements. The chalets themselves are purpose-designed and allow for up to 2 cats in each unit from the same family. We are able to accommodate up to 4 cats from the same family by linking two chalets together.

The chalets are individually heated with an enclosed sleeping area and large play area which is accessible at all times.

The whole building is air conditioned but fresh air is our first choice for our guests. We are quite happy if you wish to bring your own bedding or scratch posts as some cats are reluctant to use strange posts and bedding.

Exercise:

The chalets have different levels for the cats to climb up, jump to or walk up a ladder to.
They are also given toys for enrichment and to play with daily which help encourage exercise.
These are rotated regularly.

Health & Hygiene:

Before your cat arrives to stay with us, the chalets is thoroughly disinfected and fresh bedding and scratch posts are installed.

All cats staying with us are asked to have up to date vaccinations in order to stay.

We also offer a cat grooming service, whether you want just a nail clip or a full groom, our fully qualified groomers are here to help.
