Cats @ Ratcliffe Luxury Cat Hotel

An absolutely outstanding luxury cat hotel. We were very nervous to leave our 10 month old cat for the first time, but after reading other reviews about how well the cats are cared for, we thought Cats@Ratcliffe would be perfect ! We were immediately put at ease by Andrea, who provided a very thorough booking form and information about how things would work, particularly in the covid-19 pandemic. We felt incredibly safe and comfortable dropping off and collecting our cat, Neko. Pictures of Neko were posted every single day we were away, which really put us at ease, as we could see how much fun she was having playing with all the toys Andrea provided for her! So lovely that she was able to watch wildlife out of the windows too. We could not be happier with Cats@Ratcliffe and will definitely be returning. We would recommend to everyone with a fur baby kitty!

Everything you could ask for from a cattery, and more. My partner and I were apprehensive about leaving our cats for the first time, but once we met Andrea and saw the facilities, our minds were put at ease. Andrea is a genuine cat lover, and our cats both quickly warmed to her despite them not being great at home when we have visitors! Andrea supplies a vast selection of wet and dry food, so guests can typically enjoy their normal diet. Lots of toys, in fact Andrea keeps a bag for each guest containing their favourite items for future visits. Those staying over Christmas also receive a stocking with their names on - fantastic personal touches. The ‘suites' are split into two - an indoor, temperature controlled part with two tiers to look out of the window, sleep, eat and drink and a front part that is more open for cats to play, and hear each other and the radio in the corridor. Cats are also allowed a supervised wander down the corridor from time to time, and even get groomed, along with plenty of fuss and attention. The suites vary in size, meaning that they can accommodate cats that live together. There are several cat trees etc. in each. The best part for us is the daily Facebook upload of photos of our cats (you can opt out out of this if desired), which we always look forward to! When we return to collect them, they're never in a hurry to leave! It's no surprise to see that this cattery is becoming so popular - fully deserved.

Excellent 5 star service. We felt guilty leaving our boy over Christmas but Andrea more than made up for the fact we were away . Spotlessly clean and enriching environment. When we went to collect I really liked the fact our boy seemed so pleased to see Andrea when she went into his pen and Andrea has got to know him and his ways so well . Love the daily photos and updates .its never easy to leave them but if you have to this is the place .

Our kitty cat Sansa has just come home from her first short stay with Andrea and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her cattery and her fantastic personal, caring and accommodating service to everyone. Truly first class accommodation for the cats, I've stayed in hotels with less comfort features! I really enjoy seeing the photos and reading the updates about how she has settled in and seeing all her cattery friends 👍🏻. Sansa will be returning very soon for a longer stay and it goes without saying she will be a regular. We can't thank you enough Andrea!

Beautiful little cat hotel - because it is small the cats get fantastic 1:1 attention and pampering. My babies are indoor puss cats who hate leaving the house and had never stayed away before so i researched several catteries before choosing Andrea. I decided to visit initially as it was purely for cats, looked immaculate and as all the pens were named after Andrea's babies that had passed over rainbow bridge which showed me her love for animals. When we got there both me and my husband knew it was the right place. I've never been in a nicer cattery - to the point that i can't really call it that, it really is a hotel :-). Our cats took a day or so to settle, which i knew they would, but after that they had a fantastic time. Andrea sent messages and photos almost every day to reassure us which was great. When we picked them up i don't think they wanted to come home 😂 Andrea grooms and cleans the cats and researched how to best look after our cats (sphynx), she had no problem giving tablets daily to my older boy. They were sparkling when we collected them which in itself is amazing! I didn't worry about them once i knew they were settled. I can't thank Andrea enough and look forward to our next holiday now i know the cats will have a holiday with her too xxx

It is clear Andrea is very much a natural cat lover and is very passionate about what she does, providing a very high standard of care. She is most professional, and everything is in the best interests of the cats to ensure they are given the care they deserve. The facilities are pristine, however just as importantly for us, our cats were extremely well looked after and with a personal touch. One of my cats is quite timid and has an eye problem so I was really concerned about medicating. Andrea was very reassuring, and did a fantastic job (he is a cat after all!) with his medication, considering it takes a fair amount of time and patience in his particular case! Very grateful for her help, it was really reassuring to know they were in great hands. We will have no problem recommending this lovely place to others. Thank you:)

Sent to me via email. We just wanted to pass our thanks on to Andrea for the loving care she took of our cat during a recent four day stay. Cats @ Ratcliffe is a very professionally run and spotlessly clean cattery. The facilities are also calm and relaxed - which is what we wanted for our nine month old cat who was being left for the first time. Its obvious Andrea is very fond of cats, and she went out of her way to spend time with our cat, to reassure her and make her feel at home. Andrea is also very accommodating - our plane was delayed by a couple of hours, but we were still able to get back later in the evening and collect our cat with no stress, or fuss. Cats @ Ratcliffe is highly recommended and we plan to use them again, just as soon as we can book another holiday. 12/02/2016 J.A.
