About our Home Boarding

Wendy and husband Paul have both always been professional musicians, travelling the world providing cocktail and dancing music on Cruise Ships and in 5* Hotels. Now retired, they are delighted to have their own Hotel for lucky doggies! They opened the doors of their home to canine guests in January 2014 and can accommodate up to five dogs. They are holders of a rare 5 STAR License with Cheshire East Council, Police checked and fully insured with Public liability.

Accommodation:

We have a large lawned and fully fenced back garden where we spend a lot of time playing with the dogs, either all together or individually if necessary. Indoors the dogs usually enjoy being with us in the lounge for the evening and at bed time we have a single, a double or a family bed room available. If your pet usually sleeps in the kitchen, that's okay too!

Exercise:

We don't have a 'set' walking regime as our doggy guests are exercised according to your wishes. We take them for as many walks as they are used to and at the same times of day, in the lovely surrounding country side and parks. In addition the dogs have constant access to the lawned and fully enclosed back garden.

Health & Hygiene:

During your dog's stay we are required to hold up to date vaccination certificates which we will keep safe and return to you when you pick up your pet. We also kindly ask that you treat your dog for fleas, worms and kennel cough before their visit. Although we do have a vet on call for emergencies we will still need your own vet's details and permission to administer any treatment prescribed for your dog. Sorry, we no longer register entire males or un spayed females.

Home Boarding Prices

Prices depend on the length of holiday required and the number of guests. Day Care is £25 and an overnight stay is an additional £20. You can view a full price list for our longer stays on our website hounddog-hotel.weebly.com We offer a 25% discount on a second dog from the same household.

Other Services

We have reliable and reasonably priced colleagues nearby, with whom we work closely and can highly recommend. We offer to transport your dog to and from their Grooming appointment during their stay and can also arrange mobile visits from a qualified veterinary nurse offering nail clipping, ear cleaning, anal glands, tick removal and micro chipping.
