Happy Walkies on the Wirral Small Dog Boarding & Daycare

We needed regular daycare for Luna our 5 month chihuahua puppy and we were reluctant to use a busy creche type as she's so tiny. We were so lucky to have had Cindy and Pete recommended to us. Their home is beautiful and safe, Luna has been going for 3 weeks now and has settled in perfectly. Cindy and Pete couldn't care for her any better, they clearly love what they do and Luna has the most fun and comes back happy and exhausted! The daily photos and videos are reassuring and it's such a relief not to have to worry while in work. We couldn't wish for better people to care for her 🥰

My westie lexi has been going for a few weeks to cindy & pete for one day a week. She has so much fun and comes back really sleepy as she has been playing with other small dogs. I wish she could talk so she could actually tell me how much she has enjoyed herself. We are leaving lexi with cindy & pete whilst we go away on holiday soon and i'm sure she will be well looked after. Cindy & pete are a lovely couple and lexi has met some great dogs to run around and play with. Would definately recommend happy walkies. I'm so glad i heard about them from my neighbour.

We have just had our four dogs looked after by cindy and Pete. We never really leave them so we're quite anxious. I honestly will never be worried again. We were updated regularly and the dogs were so happy. I'm so glad we found happy walkies :)

My little girl Lola has just returned from 8 nights here with Cindy and Pete. They are the most loving, caring couple you could ever wish to leave your dog with, I was completely at ease leaving Lola whilst we were away. I got regular updated/tex messages and videos and it was clear that Lola had a great time. She was spoilt rotten just like at home, with all the kisses, cuddles and attention in the World. I would recommend Happy Walkies on the Wirral to anybody looking for the perfect holiday stay for their little doggy. 100% the best there is!!!

We have used Happy Walkies several times now with our dog, Bowes and recently took are new dog Bailey together with Bowes for a ten day stay with Cindy and Peter. Bailey is a nervous dog and I was worried he wouldn't settle. How wrong I was, he had a fantastic familiarisation day and they both had a fun filled, exciting and playful ten days. They had so much fun socialising and playing with other dogs that has done Bailey the world of good. I got daily video's and messages about the dogs that puts you at ease knowing that they are having a great time. I can 't recommend Happies Walkies high enough, Cindy and Peter are such nice people and treat all the dogs like they are their own giving them so much love and attention. If you want peace of mind knowing that your beloved dogs are cared for then Happy Walkies are for you. I have booked both Bailey and Bowes in again already for later this year. 100% 5 stars.

Stanley had a wonderful weeks stay with Pete and Cindy. His care was outstanding and we were reassured with videos (which made us laugh!) and photos of him whilst we were away. We couldn't recommend Cindy and Pete highly enough and have already booked his next stay with them in April.

We left our little dog for the first time with Cindy and Pete for a few days, as our usual family dog sitters were unable to have him. He had gone for a trial day first to make sure he fitted in. We received a photo within the first couple of hours, on a walk and then having a cuddle. Then we got a few photos each day of his adventures! He has had loads of walks, played with his new playmates and had lots and lots of cuddles! The dogs can go wherever they want, he slept on their pillow! The photos showed him looking very happy and relaxed. I warmly recommend this dog friendly couple and will definitely use them again. It was so reassuring to know that our dog was completely ok and happy.

Ted’s second holiday with Cindy and Pete and he had a wonderful time. Lots of play mates and wonderful walks. Updated daily by Cindy and Pete with lots of photos which stops you worrying. We were actually thinking he might not want to come home as he was enjoying it so much!!! Charlie has just spent two fabulous weeks with Cindy and Pete. We got daily updates with photos telling us what he had been doing which really put our mind at rest. You can tell the dogs are happy when you visit and Cindy and Pete obviously love them. Charlie clearly loves them and we would have no hesitation recommending them to our friends and family . Rudy - our 16 month old Shih poo had just spent 10 days with Cindy and Pete whilst we were on holiday. Previously he had been for daycare and the odd weekend. He has had a whale of a time - lots of playtime with other dogs in the lovely garden and walks in the park and on the beach. I honestly think he has had a better holiday than we have had. The regular photos and updates were very reassuring and the postcard we had in his bag was a lovely touch. Thank you Cindy and Pete for looking after him so well.

We have a mini daxi Mabel, who was quite timid, so we took her to Cindy & Pete who gave us plenty reassurance she would be looked after to suit her needs, she went to day care a few times before her 2 week break. I can honestly say that it has helped build Mabel's confidence and from the daily pics we received, we could see how happy she was. I would have no hesitation in recommending Cindy & Pete, they give the dogs lots of love and attention, and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks Adele xx

Hera has just returned from her week with Cindy and Pete. She has had a great time and I felt really confident leaving her in a proper family environment. Hera is a rescue dog and in her short lifetime has been on the streets in Romania, a kill shelter and a really basic rehoming kennels. She has been in our family for just 9 months so I was worried about abandonment issues and her feeling scared she had been left once again. Cindy and Pete thoroughly reassured us that they were the best people to look after Hera and proved us right. I would totally recommend Happy Walkies and will definitely be using them every time we need a dogsitter or boarding

Our much loved miniature dachshund Winston recently boarded at Cindy and Pete's. Prior to that, Winston had a few very useful day care days to acclimatise to his new environment. Winston had just as fab a holiday as we did. We looked forward to our daily updates and photos which were rather reassuring. Our timid little dog got on well with other dogs and of course with Pete and Cindy. We could see that he felt comfortable and safe in their lovely bungalow with splendid garden to play with his new friends. Winston is a fan of finding the sunniest or warmest spot and is often found in someone else's chair of which he found many to settle himself down in comfortably. He has another holiday planned in August and I'm sure he is very much looking forward to another week's play.

As Monty is only a puppy, we really needed the reassurance that his carers would be with him 24/7 and be able to cope with a puppy. Cindy & Pete were just the right people, with a lovely home all geared up for dogs and a very secure garden to play in. We loved that he could be with a small number of other dogs too, and that Cindy & Pete would make sure they played safely together. Regular updates were both entertaining and reassuring. A totally different experience from a kennels. I didn’t know what I was looking for when I searched for alternatives, but this is it - a home from home. I’m hoping he stays small enough that they’ll take him back for many years to come!

Ted had his first 3 night stay at Cindy and Pete’s lovely bungalow. Each day we eagerly awaited out update text with photos of where Ted had been out walking and also his doggy play mates. We could see how much he was being cared for and loved and how much he was loving his stay. Our biggest worry was would he want to come home. When we collected Ted he was happy and healthy. Ted will definitely be returning for odd days but also all of our holidays as he had a fantastic holiday along with us. Many thanks Cindy and Pete, Ted loves you to bits and we would wholeheartedly recommend you to anyone with a small dog.

Our dearest Bedlington Jack enjoyed an amazing fun-packed jolly holiday over Christmas & New Year with Cindy, Pete & other playful pooches. Lots of happy walkies despite seriously fresh BRrrrr weather! We enjoyed super cute photo's & updates daily of Jacks' activities which was so reassuring given we were overseas & left us in no doubt that his wellbeing was a priority, priceless peace of mind! Jack came back fit as a fiddle & very happy from his lovely festive season at C&P's 5* retreat! Our border terrier Archie has just returned from a weeks stay with Cindy & Pete, being the first time he has not been able to stay with family we were keen to find somewhere home from home. Cindy & Peres was more than that, Archie was cared for as if he were their own. Cindy & Petes house is beautiful and the dogs have numerous settees to choose from, places to play and a lovely garden. With regular photos and updates we knew he was being spoilt on his holiday and in the best place! He will definitely go back, thankyou so much Pete & Cindy!

After searching for a few weeks for a home boarding for our King Charles pup Sidney, we found Cindy & Pete. They are a fantastic couple with a beautiful home and garden and so enthusiastic about dogs and the service they provide. Sid has just returned from a week staying with them and had a truly wonderful time making lots of new friends going on walks in some beautiful parts of the wirral, with constant photos texts and messages daily letting us know how he was doing so we didnt miss him.We even got a postcard from him! We are so happy that we found Cindy and Pete! We were looking for an alternative to kennels as our Dachshunds are quite shy and nervous, particularly Lola. When we returned from our holiday Lola was like a different dog for all the right reasons! She seemed to come out of her shell and both dogs seemed so comfortable and relaxed in Cindy and Pete's lovely home. They socialised with their new doggy friends and went on several walks a day. Cindy sent me regular updates and pictures giving us peace of mind. Cindy and Pete provide a 5 star service and are passionate about what they do. We wanted to find an alternative to kennels for our Cavalier King Charles puppy (Lola) & Cindy & Pete were perfect! They both clearly love dogs & care about them very much. They have put a lot of thought into ensuring that they only have small well-behaved dogs & they introduce them to each other carefully. It was so reassuring knowing that Lola was being taken for lovely walks with her new friends & having fun playing in the secure garden & house. The daily photo updates are a lovely touch & helped put our mind at rest. Your dog will be very well looked after by Cindy & Pete & you can relax knowing that they are happy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them !

After looking for an alternative to kennels we found Cindy & Pete, and after our meet & greet with them we knew Alfie would be in good hands whilst we had our two week holiday. We have just returned home and not only did we receieve daily e-mail photographs of him walking with his new friends he has come back a very happy dog, we can't thank them enough, and we will certainly send him back for future holidays.

Pete and Cindy are brilliant with the dogs in their care, they find out each dog's little ways and personality and give them the time of their lives. We needed a dog minder to look after our Bischon Frise Oscar. As all dog owners we all love our dogs and hate it when we have to leave them, so it's good to know that when you leave them you know they are in safe hands. Cindy and Pete completely put our mind at ease and you can tell they love dogs. We have just come back from a weeks holiday and while we were away we were updated daily with photos and messages of our dogs daily routine. This certainly puts your mind at ease knowing that your dog is happy and safe. Cindy and Pete ask you what your dogs needs are and ensure that they are met. they cater to your dogs needs with a professional but loving and caring approach. Next time we go on holiday we would not leave Oscar anywhere else but in the safe hands of Cindy and Pete. If you ever need someone to look after your dog we would highly recommend Happy walkies.

Our dog just came home from her first stay with Cindy and Pete at Happy Walkies on the Wirral and it was fantastic! It started with her running into their house when we arrived, which she's never done at a dog minders before. While we were away, we were able to relax and enjoy knowing she was being cared for and having fun. Cindy sent us regular photos and updates. When we picked her up she was relaxed and happy. We are so glad to find a dog minder that only takes small dogs and a limited number at a time. Thanks again Cindy and Pete and we'll see you again soon!

Basil, our 7 month old Cockerpoo has stayed with Cindy & Pete on three separate occasions... and is booked in for some overnight stays in the coming months... such a warm,friendly couple who are true animal lovers accommodating to your animals every need in an exceptionally lovely, well maintained home with beautiful gardens ... in a fantastic location for local walks or nearby beaches & parks.....the dogs in their care have the run of the place and Basil runs to go in when we get there.... it's such a relief to find such nice people to care for our Doggy when we can't.... totally trusted...5 all round ..... thank you C & P xxxx

We have just returned from three weeks in South Africa and cannot thank Cindy and Pete enough for the way they have looked after our two pugs, Arthur and Elvis. It was a great weight off our minds to know that they were being treated like members of the family. We received regular updates and pictures and the boys clearly had a great time and loved every minute of it. Indeed, we now have two sulking pugs to contend with, as we think they would have stayed longer if they could, lol! We are happy to recommend Cindy and Pete to anyone who is looking for a kind and caring couple who clearly love dogs and will ensure that they are kept active and stimulated and are cared for in a safe environment. We have already booked them again! (As an example of how thoughtful they are, the picture below was taken by Pete and Cindy and sent to us on our wedding day in South Africa, so even though the boys couldn't be with us in person, they were there in spirit)

Oscar, our 5 year old cockapoo has just returned from his first stay with the wonderful Cindy & Pete. They are truly amazing people with a real passion for caring for dogs. Oscar had so much fun, lots of lovely walks and plenty cuddles. Their lovely house and big garden is very dog friendly, Oscar soon found where the toy box and treats were kept! What can I say Boo my 12 week old puppy absolutely adores Cindy & Pete and they are now part of the family. This was the first time I have ever used a doggy day care service but it has been amazing right from the start. I know that Boo is safe and has one on one attention and also making sure Pete is tired out after a day with her. Never have I ever seen a dog that runs as fast as she can from the car to the front door when she is booked in. That in itself shows how amazing Cindy & Pete are :) Without a doubt I would recommend them for anyone looking for a home from home stay for their four legged friend.
