Doggie Days and Stays

From our initial contact to our puppy's first weekend stay, I cannot recommend Sarah's services highly enough. Baxter was welcomed into a lovely family environment, just as he is used to at home and he immediately felt confident enough to run off and play. After his weekend break, he was suitably worn out (in a good way), having had lots of fun chasing the older family dogs around! I would have no hesitation in recommending this service, particularly if like us, you felt that kennels were unsuitable for your furry friend and you prefer a more home from home environment. We were struggling to find somewhere for our lovely old lady, Bella, a 13 year old Irish setter, she has always stayed with friends (who have now moved) and never in kennels, we were desperate for her to stay in a home-from-home environment, she doesn't deserve change at her stage in life . Bingo, have we struck lucky with Sarah and her family of adoring helpers? Knowing that she is off for a petting fest, Bella positively skips into Sarah's car and seems totally unexcited when she returns home. She has stayed several times, be it for 2 nights or 3 weeks and is as happy as can be. Sarah gauges her exercise day by day, if Bella is achey and elderly she simply wanders around the garden and field and when she feels like a young 'un she is taken on longer walks. It is wonderful not to have to worry about leaving her and simply to know that she is off an another holiday at Chalet Rough. Couldn't recommend Sarah et al more highly.

Doggie Days & Stays is a fantastic home from home for my two dogs. Sarah is absolutely lovely, her children treat each of the dogs in their care as one of their own. It is safe and secure with lots of running around space. She has two lovely dogs of her own that are clearly very comfortable with all the comings and goings of other pups! Couldn't recommend her enough!

Here is Marigold sat up front in the car arriving at Doggie Days & Stays! Lovely Sarah & her adorable family have looked after "Maggie" since she was a tiny puppy. She has also enjoyed a 2 night sleep over while we attended a family wedding. As soon as I met Sarah in her home I knew Maggie was going to be happy and fit right in. I feel Sarah treats my fur baby as one of her own and caters to her every need. Nothing is too much trouble & everything is centred around the dogs. On arrival at 7am she literally can't get out of the car fast enough to see Sarah, her doggie chums & her adorable new found surrogate "mummy" Fliss the black lab, who has sweetly taken her under her wing (paw)! I go to work completely stress free, knowing my precious pooch is having the most fun she could possibly have without me! She is on the go all day Sarah tells me & this is evident when I get her home as she is so dog tired, she can't keep her eyes open! Doggie Stays & Plays isn't just Doggy day care, it is a home from home for Maggie. I am confident she is blissfully happy there all day and doesn't even notice I am gone! Doggie Days & Stays is exactly what I dreamed I would find when I made the decision to have a puppy, knowing full well I didn't want to leave her home alone all day. I feel so lucky to have found Sarah and I know Maggie wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Thank you Sarah

Couldn't recommend Doggie Days and Stays more. Sarah's home is the perfect day care/ holiday for dogs. My Labrador is always very well looked after, walked twice a day and able to play all day as her property has lots of land. Sarah and her family are really lovely and even treats our dog to a roast dinner! What more could you ask for.
