About our Home Boarding
We are an established family run home dog boarder’s.
We left our boarding kennels in 2015 and then decided to do home boarding.
We are based on the borders of South East London, Kent, Croydon and Surrey.
We have been involved with dogs for over 40 years, that include showing, breeding, rearing, judging, training, etc. We have a wealth of experience of all sized breeds.
Your dog will be well cared for and will settle into their new environment & routine quickly, helping them feel loved, safe and secure while they stay with us.
Accommodation:
Your dog will have his or her own room to relax in, bed and bedding supplied by us.
Fresh water is always available.
Our exercise area is cleaned & disinfected regularly during each day.
Exercise:
Your dog will be exercised at various times throughout the day in our secure spacious garden.
We handle all our dogs personally & with the utmost care.
Health & Hygiene:
All dogs must be vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Parvovirus.
We also require dogs to be vaccinated against Kennel Cough.
An up to date certificate MUST be provided upon arrival and left with us during the duration of their stay.
WE CANNOT ACCEPT YOUR DOG OTHERWISE!
We will administer your dogs medication but information has to be given in written form as to your dogs requirements.
We have our own experienced vet on call if needed.
Home Boarding Prices
A daily rate is charged from they day they come in to the day they leave.
Prices per day from £25.00
A £20.00 non-refundable booking fee is required per dog to confirm your booking. This is deducted off your final bill.
We do suggest booking early for school holidays or summer breaks as these are our busiest times.

Our black labs Lilly and Boysie can't get out of the car and into their kennel quick enough when we drop them off. This summer they went with new addition Gunner, who stretched everyones patience. All 3 dogs were well looked after and looked great at the end of their stay,we will always use these kennels as we have complete trust in them

The kennels are a second home to my staffie Red. Ray, Lesley and John are his second family, he loves them and is excited every time I pull up outside. Red is a rescue dog and when I first took him he was nervous but as soon as he met Ray he went straight back to his normal happy self, Red has been going to the kennels 3-4 times a year for the past 6 years, he likes to stay in the same kennel each time which they accommodate hee hee, I can't recommend these kennels enough. Thanks Ray, Lesley and John we couldn't have our holidays without you!

Sidney, my brindle greyhound, has been staying with Ray and Lesley regularly for the past six years. He loves the care they provide and the paddocks are wonderful. Sidney gets so excited when he arrives and I would highly recommend Layhams Boarding Kennels to other dog owners.

We are the proud owners of a year old Bishon Friese, a rescue dog. Larry has spent many happy hours at these kennels over the past six months, often reluctant to leave when we go to collect him. Mac has stayed at layhams over the last two years. He LOVES it,so I like it as well,knowing he is safe ,well cared for and happy.he practically books himself in now. If there is a doggy equivalent of the horse whisperer then ray,john and Lesley are it. Fantastic family in tune with the dogs ( and their owners) 5 star service at great rates,

Our 2 Border Collies stayed here for 10 days in September. We were worried as had'nt left them for this long, Ray put our mind at rest and assured us they would be fine. They had a fabulous time, came back so happy thanks to Ray. Would not hesitate in leaving them again. Would highly recommend the kennels

Our dog Buddy stayed at Layhams kennels for the first time in May. We were really pleased with how at home he seemed there. Friendly down to earth staff that Buddy had a special bond with. We have booked him in for his summer holiday there now. If Buddy's happy we're happy. Buddy knows best and we would definitely recommend Ray's kennels to anyone we know. Open Hours
All dogs have to arrive or be collected between 9am and 12 Noon.
WE ARE ONLY CLOSED TO PUBLIC CHRISTMAS EVE, CHRISTMAS DAY & BOXING DAY..
Any dogs staying over Christmas have to be in by 23rd December.
