About our Home Boarding

I have had dogs all of my life, they are a very important part of me.
I try to give your dog a comfortable home life that they are used to so they are treated like part of the family and sleep in the house (providing they are house trained and are not chewers).
Dogs that are kennelled can be accommodated too. They can play out all day and sleep in a kennel or stable at night.
I do take in other boarding dogs at the same time so there is always an abundance of socialising and play.
I am fully insured and hold a 5 star rating license with NW Leics council

Unfortunately due to a past experience I'm afraid I no longer offer boarding to certain breeds (staffs or crosses with.) I apologise for generalising on this specific breed but have to run with my heart on this one.

Accommodation:

I live on a small holding farm of 10 acres which is available freely to dogs that are happy off a lead and will come when called!!

Because I have my own dogs I can only offer to house dogs that get on with mine. That is why I request for you to bring your dogs over to meet me and my motley crew prior to booking in!! Also I appreciate that you are leaving your precious cargo with me so want to meet me too!!
I would prefer that your dog is house trained if you want them to stay in the house at night, but appreciate they can all have an accident! I can't have chewers though I'm afraid.

Exercise:

I have a large stable yard and garden that is perfect for free play during the day. For dogs that are happy to stay off a lead and don't run off, they can be free with my dogs and me all day out and about in the fields.
We have some lovely wooded walks so exercise is a pleasure in all seasons!
There is certainly no shortage of stimulation and exercise when needed but for our older less mobile friends, the kitchen door is always open to go for a lie down!!
I can offer your dog daily walks if requested or for older dogs they may just want to be walked around the farm with me. Please ring to discuss your dogs requirements.

I will not accept dogs that are known to be aggressive in ANY way

Health & Hygiene:

I can only accept healthy dogs as I have my own here too.
I do not require kennel cough but up to date vaccination cards must be supplied (or a copy of) at the time of drop off please. This is a stipulation of my council license.

If your dog is on medication please ring to discuss their needs.
If your dog is due to come in season whilst in our care please let me know. This is not a problem and in season bitches can be catered for. I do for this reason NOT take in un-castrated dogs.

If your dog(s) become unwell whilst in my care I will take them for veterinary attention at my local vet (unless your vet is within reasonable distance). I will do my utmost to contact you to explain the situation PRIOR to vet visit but your dogs needs do come first.
Any veterinary bills incurred during their stay is the responsibility of the owner and must be paid in full on collection of the dog(s).

PLEASE NOTE NO RESPONSIBILITY WILL BE ACCEPTED IN THE EVENT OF ACCIDENT, ILLNESS OR DEATH DURING YOUR PETS STAY WITH US

Home Boarding Prices

Please feel free to ring to check availability and to book a space for your pet.
Our prices are based per day that your dog stays with us, not per night. Drop off day is counted as day 1 and charged for accordingly.

PLEASE ARRANGE DROP OFF AND COLLECTION TIMES

If you collect your dog between 9am and 10am on pick up day you will not be charged for that day.
PLEASE RING TO ARRANGE DROP OFF AND PICK UP TIMES.

Payment is either cash, bank transfer or PayPal on ARRIVAL, with any additional costs incurred to be paid in full on collection of dog(s)

2 dogs £45

Day care only, £20
(8.30am - 6pm) or any part of day

Please provide all dog food as any change could cause upset tummies. If food needs to be bought by myself whilst you are away, you will be charged for food.

PLEASE NOTE An extra £10 per day applies for Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day

No monies will be refunded on early return.

Damages will be charged for and paid in full on collection.

Unfortunately due to some last minute cancellations I am now requiring a non refundable deposit to be paid to secure your booking.

Other Services

I can provide daycare for your dog if you are going out for the whole day, working, decorating, having a house full or even if you just want them walking and looking after for a few hours!!
