About our Small Pet Boarding

Established since 2016, Bunny Haven Hotel is owned and run by Kirsty and Adam who are experienced rabbit owners and have cared for hundreds of small animals at the hotel.
We are proud to present the Bunny Haven Hotel, which has been built with love and designed with in depth knowledge, lifelong experience and consideration of rabbits behaviour and needs.

Our aim is to not just meet the basic needs of the animals in our care, but to treat them inline with their individual quirks and requirements.

Bunny Haven Hotel is fully insured.

We look after rabbits, guinea pigs, small cage animals such as Hamsters, gerbils, some birds (depending on cage size and requirements, please call to discuss) and tortoise.

Accommodation:

Bunny Haven Hotel is a secure, insulated lodge in an enclosed garden with 24 hutch spaces.

The accommodation is purpose built, single level large bespoke hutches.
Bunny Haven Hotel caters for various sizes and breed of guest and for multiple occupants which are booked in to share one hutch space.

Hutches have a cubby hole filled with straw for sleeping, a larger area for relaxing, hay, food bowl, water bottle or bowl, a litter tray, will be cleaned out regularly and disinfected between guests.

Exercise:

Guests will have access to daily exercise outdoors in large outdoor runs.

Guests will not be allowed to integrate with each other but may be able to see one another.

Health & Hygiene:

Bunny Haven Hotel requires that all rabbits are vaccinated against Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (RHVD1) and RHVD2. Vaccination records will need to be provided.

On arrival at the Bunny Haven Hotel, all guests will be checked for good health. If your pet is unwell or has a long-term condition please inform us so that we can work with you to cater for their needs.

We cannot guarantee that we can cater for all conditions, so please be honest with us before your pet arrives, otherwise we may have to decline boarding.

In the unlikely event that your pet becomes unwell, we will notify you immediately and our local Vet practice will be consulted. Please provide your usual Vets details as we may be able to access them.

All costs incurred by a vet, to care for a pet, must be met by the owner.

Other Services

Services: GroomingClaw Clipping

We can also board Tortoise and they can enjoy roaming in the garden. We cannot use UV lamps due to electrical access so tortoise are best boarded in warm sunny months.

Grooming and Claw Clipping is a service only available to guests whilst at the hotel.

£20.00 per time - Rear end wash, cut and dry.
We hope that guests arrive in a good clean condition. In an attempt to prevent ill - health, if a pet were to have a mucky bottom, constantly wet due to long fur, severely urine stained or long matted fur on their rear end, a gentle wash, trim and dry in that area would be advised.

£10.00 per time - Claw Clipping and gentle filing.
