About our Small Pet Boarding

We are a family who have over 30 years experience of looking after numerous pets. We have a passion for the care of all animals and have always had a wide range pets in our children and grandchildren's lives. Our own current family pets include our dog, birds and fish as well as our grandchildren's rabbit & guinea pig.

Accommodation:

Our hutches are large and spacious with plenty of room for your pets to move around and play. We have 3 different hutch sizes which are also on legs to ensure air circulation and prevent damp.
Hamsters, Mice, Gerbils, Degus and birds are all boarded within our own home.

Exercise:

We have exercise pens which we can locate either indoor or outdoor dependant on the weather conditions. We are also able to provide a secure patio area, which when weather permitting can also be used for exercise.

Health & Hygiene:

We don't all have close family and friends who can pop over daily and you want to be sure your pet is well cared for. So whilst you are away we provide a safe, secure and warm place for your small family pet to stay and be well looked after, almost like being at home.
All pets will be dropped off/picked up by APPOINTMENT ONLY, if we have not arranged a time when booking your pet in please telephone to arrange a suitable time. Please advise as soon as possible if you are unable to make your agreed appointment.
A boarding contract is required for all pets staying with us, which will be signed when your pet is checked in with us.
Before staying with us Rabbits should have been vaccinated against Myxomatosis and RHD1, in addition they should also now be vaccinated against RDH2 which we understand is in short supply.  We do not accept any rabbits which do not have up to date vaccinations, it is at the owners risk should any pet become ill during or after boarding with us.
For the benefit of your own pet and that of other boarders all animals staying with us must be in good health and ensure all medical conditions have been fully discussed with us prior to our agreement to board your pet. If your pet is under veterinary care for an existing non-contagious condition we are happy to continue in their care programme and administer any prescribed medication at no extra cost.  If we feel your pet is showing any signs of illness or injury we may unfortunately have to refuse to accept them to board with us.

Small Pet Boarding Prices

We offer discounted rates for multiple pets and for extended boarding periods. We also offer reduced rates for 2 or more pets in separate accommodation, contact us for details.
Rabbit (vaccination up to date) £5 per night
Guinea Pig £5 per night
Chinchilla & Chipmunk £4 per night
Hamster, Mice, Gerbil in own cage £2.50 per night
Small bird (Budgie/Lovebird)£2.50 per night
Large bird (Senegal/Caique/Amazon) £3.50 per night

Other Services

We will clip your pets claws and keep them brushed and tidy, should you require this service whilst your pets is staying with us please discuss when you book.
