About our Small Pet Boarding

Hedgerow Henporium has been breeding chickens for several years and we also produce courses for keeping chickens to teach others about the practicalities and requirements of how to keep hens safe, healthy and happy. We are passionate about these wonderful creatures and will take care of your birds as if they were our own.

Accommodation:

Our accommodation is in Henlays Roost coops and Nestera coops which house up to 6 hens. Each coop is for one group only and has its own secure and covered run. Each run is complete with enrichment and dustbathing areas. Each group of guests is kept well away from other hens.

Exercise:

Hens have access to plenty of digging and foraging and dust bathing areas which keeps them well occupied each day.

Health & Hygiene:

Scrupulously cleaned recycled plastic coops and runs which are on hard standing that is freshly bedded down for comfort for each set of guests. DEFRA recommended disinfectant is used on all surfaces and equipment. Food and fresh water is available at all times. We are highly knowledgeable in all aspects of chickens heath and welfare. Happy to care for any "special needs" birds.

Small Pet Boarding Prices

£8 per 4 bird chicken coop per day.
£10 per 6 bird chicken coop per day.
£8 per visit plus mileage.
Minimum fee of £30

Deposit of £30 to be paid in advance to confirm and reserve your coop.
Other services charged on an individual case basis.
We are able to take card payments.
