Small Animal Boarding St Helens was set up with your pet's comfort and happiness in mind. After years of working in pet care and boarding seeing both the good and the bad we took everything we had learnt to set up what we consider to be the ultimate boarding experience for your pets. Having run a boarding facility for the past 5 years and having kept small animals of our own for 25 years including rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles and birds we have gained a wealth of knowledge to ensure we can offer the best possible care to your beloved pets whilst in our care. And we are always happy to advise on any pet related questions you may have for their care at home too

Accommodation:

We believe pets deserve to have a holiday too, which is why all of our accommodation is large and spacious.

Our rabbit pens are 7ft long and filled with a variety of toys, hay filled trays and hides.
Guinea pigs get a cosy fleece lined 6ft pen with lots of places to hide

All other pets including birds, reptiles, and small furries must be brought in their own accommodation from home. We do have one small viv (fitted with heating & UV bulb) that can be booked out on a first come, first serve basis and a 3 tier rat cage.

Exercise:

All of our accommodation is indoors in a purpose built extension on our house making it completely safe from predators.

The boarding rooms are fitted with central heating and air con so that pets stay comfortable whatever the weather.

Health & Hygiene:

All pets are cleaned on a daily basis. This may be a spot clean or a full clean, depending on which is needed

After each pet has gone home from their stay, their pen is thoroughly disinfected with F10. This is a veterinary grade disinfectant

Small Pet Boarding Prices

Rabbits single or pair: £12 per day
Guinea pigs single or pair: £8 per day
(Any additional pets are an additional £1 per day)

Hamsters £5 per day
Chinchillas, degus, rats etc £8 per day
Ferrets £8 per day
Birds £8 per day
Reptiles £8 per day

25% deposit taken on all bookings to secure dates

Guinea pig grooming £20
Includes, bath, brush, hair cut, nail clip

Pet taxi - let us pick up your pets and drop them home at the end of their stay. Please ask for a quote.
