About our Small Pet Boarding
Guinea Pigs**Now taking bookings for 2025**
Hi I'm Alice and I run the guinea pig hotel. I have owned guinea pigs since I was 5 years old and my goodness have I learned and grown as a guinea pig owner. I currently have four girls that live in a large outdoor enclosure.
Animals (mainly guinea pigs) are my life! I have a first class honours degree in Animal Welfare and a level 3 diploma in Animal Management. A focus of many assignments at college and university were related to guinea pigs, so you have my absolute promise your furry friends will be well cared for.
I am fully insured.
Accommodation:
To maximise space and wellbeing for all boarders only three setups are available. We have...
1. Suite- 290x60cm or 200cm option
2. Penthouse- 200x60cm
3. Hideaway- 170x90 cm
Each setup is lined with newspaper and hay. This bedding combination allows for natural foraging behaviours to be exhibited.
The setups are 'naturalistic' in design and feature handmade wooden hideaways.
The hotel also has heating, lighting and meshed door. It is situated in a secluded and shaded area of the garden.
Health & Hygiene:
Each cage will be spot cleaned daily and fully disinfected with veterinary grade spray between boarders.
If you pet is on oral medication, I am more than happy (and experienced) to administer whilst at the hotel.
Small Pet Boarding Prices
Prices are dependent on the setup chosen. Prices start from £10 per day for two sharing. Any additional guinea pig is £2.50 per day.
Veggies, forage and grass are included in the price.
Card payment is preferred with payment made in advance.
2-week notice for cancellations.

We recently had Alice take care of our four Guinea pigs. She provided lovely safe, natural surroundings for them to stay in, with regular updates which put our mind at rest throughout their stay. Would highly recommend.

Thank you Alice for providing such wonderful care for our piggies, we loved the little video updates everyday and knew they were happy seeing them popcorning. Would highly recommend The Guinea Pig Hotel. Alice is wonderful ,she really cares for your piggy. We received regular updates,photos ,videos of our piggy and on pick up , a daily diary of her stay. She was more than happy to administer to medical needs. Words cannot convey how happy and confident we were leaving our piggy with her,in fact we are booked in for the next visit!!
