About our Small Pet Boarding
RabbitsGuinea PigsHamsters, Mice etc.At Hoppy Hotel we are true animal lovers and really enjoy looking after your furry friends. Our aim is to provide the best accommodation to maximize your pets health and wellbeing during their stay with us. We want you to feel relaxed knowing that your pet will be left in safe loving hands.
If you have a small animal and are wanting to leave it somewhere safe, secure and comfortable, then Hoppy Hotel is the right place for you.
Accommodation:
We have a purposely adapted, insulated outbuilding next to our home. There are three separate rooms each adapted for rabbits, guinea pigs and smaller rodents.
All of our accomodation is above recommended space for small animals. This enables then to move around freely with comfort.
Heating is provided in the winter and air-conditioning during the summer months to maintain that optimum temperature for your pets.
Regular checks are made throughout the day and we also have cameras in place for in-between checks to ensure your pets are safe and happy.
We will provide hay and fresh greens each day, all we ask is for you to provide their normal dry food and any treats they prefer.
Exercise:
All rabbits and guinea pigs are provided with their own generous sized indoor area, which gives them plenty of room to exercise, play and relax. Two of our inside rabbit enclosures have attached outdoor runs for them to freely go in and out of their choosing. (Outdoor run is closed off at night) Toys and hideaways are provided for extra stimulation to help keep your pet happy during their stay.
Health & Hygiene:
Our facilities are monitored and cleaned each day to maintain high standards of hygiene. All cages are have a daily clean, fresh dry bedding always in place and mats changed regularly. Water is changed daily and topped up throughout the day. Accommodation and accessories are sanitized after each stay using recommended pet safe products.
All rabbits must have proof of VHD and Myxomatosis vaccination.

We prefer check in time on arrival day to be after 1pm during busy times. Collection on departure day should be before 12 midday. We can be flexible, please contact me if these times are difficult.

1 large rat cage available to use free of charge or you are welcome to use your own.

I was very happy leaving my Guinea pigs with Liz, it is a very spacious place for every pet with comfortable beds and games for them. And I could see how they were feeling from the photos she was sent me while I was on holiday.

Happy hotel provided boarding for our rabbit and guinea pigs. They had probably the best boarding facilities that we have used and you get a real sense of passion for the animals from Liz so much so we're planning our next break so our animals kids can have their own little holiday Thanks Liz David C

Liz looked after our 3 guinea pigs while we were on holiday. There is a lovely set up with large pens for the animals so plenty of space. Liz was lovely and obviously cared about the animals. She was happy to fit in with the routines of the guinea pigs and we took some of our own fleeces which she even washed which was a great help. We had messages and photos while we were away. We will be using Hoppy hotel next time we go away and thoroughly recommend.

We do try to accommodate their normal routine and set up as much as possible to make their stay stress free. Three very photogenic guineas, so a pleasure to send you regular photos and updates. This was the first time putting my bunnies in boarding and I couldn't be more happier. Liz welcomed us all with open arms and I instantly knew I had made the right decision. The set up was amazing with lots of toys, boxes, bedding and their favourite vegetables. It was very homely! They settled in very quickly and I got updates and photos throughout the week. I highly recommend hoppy hotel and will be using them from now on!
