About our Small Pet Boarding
Guinea PigsCavy Days offers guinea pig boarding in our cosy lodge, where your pets will receive individual care. Owned and run by Becky, an experienced and qualified animal lover, we welcome any questions or enquiries. Cavy Days is also fully insured.
We are located on the outskirts of South Birmingham/Worcestershire border, just a few minutes from both the M5 and M42.

Accommodation:
We have a secure and cosy insulated wooden lodge, housing 120cm and 140cm cages, complete with houses, hides and tunnels. We ask you to bring your pets usual dry food, while we provide clean bedding, plenty of meadow/timothy hay, fresh veg daily and everything else your pet will need during their stay, or you are also welcome to bring their own home comforts!
Exercise:
All pet are health checked and handled daily, plus cuddle and playtime, and regular checks throughout the day. We also offer supervised outdoor exercise time in a secure run, weather dependant.
Health & Hygiene:
All cages and equipment are thoroughly cleaned in between stays. All pets are health checked daily and we are experienced with grooming or administering medication. All animals must be healthy to stay with us, registered with a Veterinary Practice and have a completed veterinary agreement before they arrive.
Small Pet Boarding Prices
120cm cages £7.00, plus £1.50 per additional guinea pig
140cm cages £7.50, plus £1.50 per additional guinea pig
Based on price per night, with a minimum 2 night stay.

We are so thrilled to have found the loving care of Becky. We've never left our girls (Flo and Luna) before but felt ðŸ'¯ comfortable from start to finish. The booking process was clear and easy, as was the handover. Becky looked after our guinea pig Ginger Nut for 2 weeks in August 2024. It was lovely to see where he'd be staying and his cage was large and immaculate. Becky sent me a text message update during his stay which was lovely to see and also kept facebook updated with pictures. He looked like he had as much fun as we did on our getaway! Becky was friendly and caring and we felt very happy to leave our 2 guinea pigs with her while we were away on holiday. Their cage was big, clean and with plenty of hay and inside a quiet, secure lodge which helped them to settle. Becky was flexible with our drop off and collection times which we were grateful for and very responsive to our initial enquiries and kept us informed about our piggies while we were away. The boarding was easy to find and ideal for access to the motorway. We are happy to recommend Cavy Days Lodge to other piggie owners.

Becky looked after my 2 guinea pigs for a week whilst I went on holiday. It was spotlessly clean and very well stocked. Really felt 100% confident leaving them there knowing they would be looked after. Becky treated them like her own and sent me photo updates which was nice. Will definitely take them back to Becky when i have another holiday. 10/10 all day long. Highly recommended!

Fantastic customer service from Becky. We has regular updates on how my daughter's guinea pig was , which was really reassuring. The facilities were super clean, and our pet was well looked after with cuddles and brushing as we had asked for. As a family, we couldn't have asked for more care and attention.
