About our Small Pet Boarding

After working in dog kennels/cattery and working a little in the grooming industry, I have taken it upon myself to share the love I have for animals by creating my own boarding business. I am qualified in animal care and have always grown up with animals. After working at Dandelion Cottage with the wonderful Ashleigh, I am able to start my own business for the smaller fluff butts.

Accommodation:

We have a fully insulated shed designated to these fluffy friends which has heating to keep them warm in the winter and air conditioning for the hot summer months. We always have a radio on low for company for them.

Each day they get a full clean and spot cleaning throughout the day.

We provide fresh yummy hay, readigrass and fresh vegetables daily.

We have little "pop outs" which they can access via a small door at the end of their suite, which the piggies are able to access all day. These are locked up at night. The pop outs allow the piggies to choose if they want to sit outside in the fresh air or if they would prefer to hide away indoors.

The shed has security locks on which are also locked at night.

Exercise:

Guinea pigs will not be able to exercise on grass due to not being able to be disinfected after use. They will have full access to their little "pop outs" during the day and if needed we can get them out for lots of cuddles. Their suites are a good size to allow for lots of play.

Health & Hygiene:

The piggies are fully cleaned out daily. They are given fresh hay, fresh water and vegetables. We also spot clean throughout the day. Between guests the suites are thoroughly cleaned with a veterinary disinfectant.
