We board: Guinea Pigs

I am an experienced guinea pig owner for many years. I write for Guinea Pig Magazine, and am on their team of experts.
I have achieved a level 3 qualification in animal care, and am a registered SQP.

Accommodation:

I offer ferplast 120 cages, suitable for 1, 2 or 3 piggies.
I also have a larger cage with can be set up to accommodate larger herds if required (up to 5 or 6 piggies).

Health & Hygiene:

The cages are disinfected with f10 veterinary strength disinfectant at the end of each stay.
The bedding I use is disposable (aubiose).
I am registered with a mobile vet, and a permanent practice, and can have unwell piggies seen by either the owners vet, or my vet.

Small Pet Boarding Prices

£8 per night per cage for 1 or 2 piggies per cage (an extra piggy can be accomodated at an extra cost of £1 per night), which includes all bedding, fresh hay daily (haybox timothy hay), fresh veg daily (a healthy portion of around 50g per pig per day in total made up of 4 or 5 different veg), and treats or forage.
Each piggy may also opt to have a complimentary bath, pawdicure (nail trim and foot massage) or mini photoshoot.

Other Services

Services: GroomingClaw Clipping

Grooming sessions - bath, blow dry, coat trim and nail trims, £10 per piggy.
Or nail trimming is also available at £5 per piggy.
