About our Small Pet Boarding

Hi, we’re The Hedgerow Hotel, aka Jamie, Phil, Jess & Seb and we’re a small family run boarding facility for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, mice, gerbils, rats and geckos. In addition to caring for your beautiful fur babies for the past few years we also have 4 cats, Nala, Lottie, Wilfred & Bodhi, a cavalier King Charles spaniel, Reggie & a bearded dragon, Gizmo. We started the hotel back when we had our own gorgeous piggies, Elsa, Ana & Olaf and our handsome chinchillas, Mogli & Simba and couldn’t find anyone to look after them when we went away. Our piggies lived indoors and we didn’t like the thought of them being in an outside shed, even if it was heated, so we bespoke built our piggy accommodation in our home, where we get to enjoy all your gorgeous babies as part of our family.

Accommodation:

We have both indoor and outdoor accommodation for guinea pigs & rabbits. Our indoor accommodation is a part of our family home, so your animals become a part of our family during their stay. Our outdoor accommodation is within our private garden. You can see some of our accommodation in the photos and are welcome to arrange a viewing before booking. We also offer bespoke chinchilla boarding. Hamsters, mice, gerbils and rats must board in their own accommodation.

Exercise:

We have an attached run for rabbits and external, covered runs for guinea pigs.

Health & Hygiene:

All our accommodation is steam cleaned and disinfected between guests. All rabbit guests must be fully vaccinated prior to their stay.

Small Pet Boarding Prices

Guinea pig boarding - £10 per day per bonded group
Rabbit boarding - £12 per day per bonded group
Chinchilla boarding - £10 per bonded group
Prices are inclusive of all accommodation, bedding, hay & fresh veggies. Dry food must be supplied.

Hamster, mouse, gerbil & rat boarding is £6 per day per accommodation. Accommodation must be supplied.

Other Services

We additionally offer nail trimming for £5 per animal.
