About our Small Pet Boarding
RabbitsGuinea PigsHamsters, Mice etc.I run a small boarding business in Walsall. I also work part time in a school as a Teaching Assistant. I have many years experience of caring for my own rabbits and have boarded numerous rabbits and Guinea pigs over the years since I started this business. I can offer your rabbit or guinea pig a safe and secure environment whilst you are away.
I also look after hamsters provided they are brought to me in their own cage.
Accommodation:
My hutches are kept in a large purpose built shed at the rear of my property. I can offer double or single hutches. I can accommodate two rabbits/guinea pigs in the same hutch if your pets are used to living together. The shed will be closed and locked at night for security. Please note that the shed is not heated and so is unsuitable for house rabbits during the winter. I do have some indoor cages which would be suitable for smaller house rabbits or guinea pigs during the winter months.
Exercise:
I have secure runs in the garden and will ensure that your rabbit or guinea pig gets plenty of daily exercise (weather permitting!). I provide tunnels and toys to keep your pets amused whilst they are in the runs.
Health & Hygiene:
I do require your rabbits to be vaccinated against Myxomatosis and VHD prior to their stay with me. I will only accept bonded male rabbits or guinea pigs if they have been neutered. Should your pet appear unwell during their stay I will take them to my local vets. Any expenses incurred will be refundable by you on your return. I do require you to leave an emergency contact number whilst you are away.
Small Pet Boarding Prices
My costs are:
£6.00 per day for 1 rabbit/guinea pig
£7.00 per day for 2 rabbits/guinea pigs staying in the same hutch.
£3.00 per day for hamsters.
I would require payment in cash on arrival or by bank transfer if you prefer.
I require a £10.00 non refundable, transferable deposit from all new customers to secure your booking.
Other Services
I can offer a pick up/drop off service at a small extra charge if transport is a problem. Please contact me to discuss

Our rabbit as been to bunnyzone a number of times over Afew years now ,went in June this year had no fur on is back back foot ,just got him back again yesterday,I was totally disgusted to find him covered in wet diarrhoea in which he was very smelly ,not been cleaned or groomed in anyway ,definitely won't ever be going back there

Boarders Response:I have only just seen this review as it should have been sent to me with a chance to respond at the time but unfortunately wasn’t!! I was at a loss to understand the paw issue as my hutches and runs are checked on a regular basis and are completely safe! This rabbit seems to have an ongoing problem with sticky bottom due, in my opinion, to it’s unhealthy diet. I had cleaned this rabbit a few times during its stay but unfortunately I was taken ill 2 days before this rabbit was collected and I accept that it was not cleaned on the day of collection.
I can't help but comment again about BunnyZone. I took Bob & Daisy to stop at BunnyZone so I could have a much needed break. The accommodation was as always clean and fresh and there were plenty of runs available for exercise. Thank you to Judith and family, I know my little ones are safe and loved with you.

Have been using bunny zone for over a year now and would be hard pushed to find a better place. I know that my bunny loves his vacations and that makes mine better too - just knowing that he is being cared for and gets the attention & love he deserves is so reassuring :)

Superb accommodation with spacious runs. Lovely caring family who treated Maisy the guinea pig and Bob the bunny as their own. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these boarding facilities to anyone. Thank you.

Open Hours
I am happy for you to arrange a visit prior to boarding your pet. My opening hours during the week for drop offs, collections and visits are 4pm until 8pm.
I can be more flexible at weekends and during school holidays.
