About our Small Pet Boarding
RabbitsGuinea PigsWe are Jo & Ian Gallier
We run 'Home from Home' Small Animal Boarding from our own home in Petts Wood.
We are a small, family run, friendly business that provides high quality, reliable, low cost boarding for your rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils.
We are Open most days and will schedule your drop-off or collection to suit you (subject to our own family commitments!)
Accommodation:
We have our own 5ft double height hutches which are housed in a safe shaded family garden environment, and large cages Or double height 4ft hutches in our inside accommodation.
Hamsters and gerbils are housed in our family lounge (your own cage is required)
Tortoises be request - please email us.
Exercise:
All guests have daily playtime in our secure outdoor runs - weather permitting.
Hamster are given playtime in wheels or balls depending on what they are used to. Please do let us know or bring suitable play toys.
Health & Hygiene:
Cleaned daily
Fresh sawdust, straw, food and water plus daily fresh fruit and vegetable treats. All our guinea pigs are fed on either nuggets or museli style food. Fussy eaters may bring their own food with them if they want to!
Rabbits MUST be vaccinated and vaccination records have to be provided at the time of booking. All rabbits must bring their own food please as diet changes may cause upset tummies.
If veterinary treatment is required, this will be approved with you (where possible) and all bills must be settled by you directly with the Vet.
If your Vet is not available we will use our own local Vet at Andersen Vets in Orpington.
If you pet is insured, please bring details of this with you when you board.
Small Pet Boarding Prices
Rabbits £7 per day/ per Double hutch or large cage
Single Guinea Pig £5 per day in a standard cage
2-3 Guinea Pigs £7 per Day in a large cage or double hutch
Any pets on medication : we are really happy to do this for you at a one off cost of £10 per stay.
Payment on drop off - cash cheque or BACS payments accepted.
Collections can be arranged at an additional cost, depending on where you live.

We can visit your pets in your home for a daily charge - please do call us about this service - price depends on your location from £12 per day

My buns have boarded with Jo a few times and they always come home looking happy and healthy. The area with the hutches looks very clean and well cared for and Jo is very quick to reply to communications. Highly recommend.

Just picked up our 4 bunnies after their first two week holiday with Jo and her lovely family. It's definitely a 'home from home' atmosphere and clear to see that they love all the animals in their care and treat them as if they were their own :-). Can't recommend them enough and will certainly be back!

Jo and Ian looked after Bubbles my hamster extremely well, I also received some lovely photo messages during my holiday with his antics on which was a lovely surprise. He came home so happy and chilled out, cage was immaculate, I'd definately recommend them to anyone
